shareSnipes IS the star of the show and please use better spelling and grammar.

Will you be there?

Did not know Wesley wasn't the lead. First tv promo I saw kind of lead me to believe he would be. Not as excited about it now. Even though I prefer Wesley in movies, though I know action films are dead, still thought it'd be cool to see Wesley on television every week, even it was for the usual NBC cancelled yearly crap.
shareSame here. The promo showed no one but Snipes but the imdb page bills him in like number 14 or something which almost certainly means he's a support role and not even a big support role.
Still though, you just have got to see him in the show even if he has two minutes on screen only.
Thankfully Wesley snipes isn't the main star of this show and is just a minor supporting actor. Nobody wants or needs a Wesley snipes TV show.

seconded. great to see him finally back on screen. he was great in blade
shareWesley Snipes just sucks and he is one of the reasons why this show sucks too.
He is a untalented clown and total waste of screen space.
I guess you were born in the 2000s lmao

Whatever, troll. Obviously you aren't even old enough to have been around during Snipes' action movie heyday---get off surfing on your I-phone long enough to go check some of Snipes' classic action flicks like DEMOLITION MAN, KING OF NEW YORK,JUNGLE FEVER, BLADE,ART OF WAR (okay, not a classic, but still a decent action picture.) He's the only reason anybody tuned in to THE PLAYER in the first place, so after you see the films I mentioned, bow down and give him his props---because he's probably the only reason this show got made in the first place.
He's the reason why I watch it!
The actual show isn't that intriguing actually [reminds me too much of Las Vegas]
@CherryFrampton
Thankfully Wesley snipes isn't the main star of this show
What? You speak for yourself only on that point. He isn't the lead, but he is definitely one of the main major characters----he's the questionable debonair character who gives the lead the assignments to carry out. He is not a "minor supporting actor", as much as you wish that were the case. I'm a Snipes fan fro back in the day, and he's the only reason I even considering watching this show---because let's be real---as good as the lead actor is (and he ain't bad to look at either) he's not the big name that drew folks to this show---Snipes is. Deal with that, and whine no more about it.
Snipes is a fkn legend. His promoting the show is the only thing that sparked my interest when there's 10,000 cookie cutter shows on TV. BIG mistake not casting him as the protagonist. Hope the producers are reading this thread.
shareI like Wesley Snipes as the ethically ambiguous character. He stole the show, even if he didn't jump from an airplane or crash through walls personally. (We have staff to do that.)
shareBilling doesn't always represents the amount of screentime a character will have, or whether or not they are a main or supporting character. Most of the time it does, but there are plenty of times bigger named actors get billed above lesser knowns even if they play a smaller role. I remember watching "Executive Decision" with Kurt Russell and Steven Seagal where Seagal's character dies pretty darn quick.
Using Snipes to draw viewers is smart since that is the name people will recognize. Either way, it's not like he plays a minor role either. I think he fits his character perfectly.
I'm so hip I have trouble seeing over my pelvis.
Well he's not the 'main star'.
I heard a radio interview last week where he explained that he turned down Empire because he did not want to lead a TV series because of time commitments. Said he wanted to still be able do 3 or 4 movies a year instead of just 1..
