So NBC says "fvck you" to approx 4 million people...

That's the average number of viewers this show had, per episode, over the course of the series.

Perhaps not enough to stave off cancellation, but you would think it would be enough to merit just one more episode, re-written to tie-off all the story-lines.

But... nope. It's obvious NBC does not give a rat's ass about the millions of people who tuned in each week, trying to support this show, and their crappy network.

No wonder the networks are dying a slow, miserable death. Cable is simply waaay better.

NBC says "fvck us"...?

Exactly! It's good to know NBC would rather count the people NOT watching their shows, than the ones that ARE watch their shows. And, honestly, I'm not even interested in giving JLo's new show a chance because I'm too pi$$ed/bummed about them cancelling The Player (which they probably cancelled, just so they could air JLo's show).

I know it's just a show, but I really liked it. And I know it's petty, but I really hope Shades of Blue bombs and get worse ratings than The Player. Of course, even with low ratings, they'll probably keep Shades of Blue on for at least a couple of seasons and it will probably get a proper finale when it does end. 

People on board a ship that's capsizing don't use that many exclamation marks.

Im from the UK, and im loosing count the number of shows that have been canceled over the years. It wasnt long ago i was talking to a friend talking about the same thing.

You have this catch 22 going on now, networks being ao fickle and cancling shows, the public watch the shows to then find out they are being canceled before the seasons even finished, and all that time/interest youve spent invested in the show is met with disapointment.

They then create more new shows, but you dont want to watch them from fear of the above and wasting your time, so then less people watch and more shows get canceled.

This is why i love amazon and netflix so much, they produce a full season, you know it wont get canceled 6 episodes in, you can watch them all at once.

Ive seen so many shows over the years cancelled and its gutting at times, to switch for utter trash, its all about the biggest ratings, another reason why im all for steaming services, as they are all about the content and pleasing all thier subscripers.

Yeah, this show far exceeded my expectations, it wouldn't make my Top 25 of all time but I enjoyed watching it every week, i liked the writing, characters, actors etc, nothing really irked me about it.
NBC was definitely the problem, everything from the trailers (which almost made me not watch at all) to the posters to the scheduling was dire. I told my friend before any of it even aired that this show wouldn't last a season and I regret that turned out to be true.
Well done to the cast & crew, you gave me/us 9 hours of enjoyment.
And no offense to the replacement show but I'd rather drink a Tiger Blood milkshake than watch it. It's gonna take a superlative effort to convince me to tune into another NBC show.

Well said, it was turning into a decent little show and they should have at least done the fans and cast the courtesy of at least one more episode for some closure. But no, here we are again with a show leaving us hanging and no resolution. *beep* NBC and all the other networks that pull this crap.
