Borrows from "Hustle"?
This is now being shown on Spike here in the UK. I thought it seemed a bit familiar. Wesley Snipes looks like Adrian Lester (Micky Bricks), and Charity Wakefield is Stacey!

shareI only saw the trailers on Spike (they're on all the time, they're plugging "The Player" as if it's the best thing since forever).
I won't be watching it, as it was cancelled after 9 episodes, and it looks like Spike are only showing it to fill a gap in their schedule, then they'll buy in something else, so there's nothing to get into, really.
I just thought the whole ambience of the trailer looked very like "Hustle", very slick & sophisticated, and Wesley Snipes came across like Adrian Lester, a cool dude!
It was pretty decent for what it was. I was expecting something like Strike Back, just a show with elaborate excuses for action scenes, but it was on the next rung of the ladder up, haha. Enjoyable, but yeah, i wish i had known there was only nine episodes before watching. ><
