50 Shades Darker came in at #8 on Fandango's top 10 movie list of 2017...lots of action adventure movies on the list...Star Wars 8 was #1..Wonder Woman...Beauty and the Beast..Guardians of the Galaxy 2..

I think part of it is based on advanced ticket interest..
