I feel like she was the only one who was trying to do something interesting with the source material. Jamie Dornan is flat and unremarkable but Johnson had some real charm in the previous movie. She doesn't really seem to be trying anymore from the scenes in the trailer.
shareI felt bad for Dakota the first time around, she was carrying most of the weight which is weird because people bashed her before the film came out but she was the better part.
Jamie needs to get over it. He knew how big the franchise was and with all the fans, you gotta fake it. He's acting was so bad and based on the Darker trailer, he hasn't improved.
I wish Dakota luck and hopefully she won't be stereotyped by her role. Liked her in How to be Single
