Opens against Lego Batman AND John Wick 2?!?!

There's a 100% chance that this movie's going to flop. This movie comes out on the same day as the Lego Batman Movie AND John Wick 2, both of which have a >90% on Rotten Tomatoes. This movie is bound to be terrible, like the unwatchable first movie, and would be lucky to break 30% on RT. And as successful as the first movie was, everyone knows how trashy it was, even people who saw it, so there's no way they'd come back for another.

There's no way this will open at anything higher than #3 in the box office. Just wait.

Interest overseas is still high and the budget is small. It will make money but I wouldn't be surprised if it only opened with 30mil in comparison to the first film's

I just saw that Jamie Dornan, Keanu Reeves, and Denzel Washington will be on The Graham Norton Show, February 10th. Two of the three weekend openers on the same couch, how great is that? All they need is Lego Batman and it would be a perfect ensemble. Okay, that's just silly. I'm sure Lego Batman has bigger things to do than silly little interviews, he's a busy guy.

Sounds like it will be a pretty great episode!

Totally different audiences...R rated and PG rated..I plan on seeing Darker and Batman...

Maybe people learned something from the first film?

I plan on seeing Batman and John Wick. Also Hidden Figures.

Watch The Reel Rejects and they have reactions to the final FSD trailer and what's really interesting is how they apologize about how Ana's character is an insult to women.

I thought the same thing as you did, Isundling. Different audiences.

You never know, FSD might be part of the compromise for couples...I'll go to X if you'll go with me to see FSD tomorrow night, haha.

So two films might come out okay with couples going to both! :-)

It'll make money for Valentine Day's couples. But will have a huge drop during the weekends after.
