Dakota Johnson refers Ana as "an incredibly, powered, young woman"

Is she insane? Ana in the film "supposedly" doesn't like to be bossed around. Spoiler alert, she does everything she is told to do. Dakota goes on to say "she does everything on her own volition..." My friends and I were laughing because A) Dakota is the dumbest person on earth (smart word usage like "Volition" is an oxymoron to her statement, an emphasis in Dakota for being a moron B) The character doesn't empower women at all. We all thought the same thing when watching the film (my friends are fans of the book) Ana only loves Christian for being a billionaire and buying her pretty things. Seriously, she comes off like a gold-digger in FSD. In the film she's like "I can't be with you like this...(present/gift is given to her), oh...I love you!)

I think she might be or maybe someone told her to say that? What if she doesn't know what that means?

It's exhausting seeing these weak-female characters being written. Give better roles to women.

Dakota's from LA. She knows how hardcore those streets can be. If Ana was real, she'd be tearing up Rodeo Drive, trying to survive wearing last season's Dolce & Gabanna, while sipping her Starbucks' decaf water and contemplating on that crouton she ate for yesterday's lunch.

She knows pain, Femme_X

shes probably been paid to say that.

Her entire story arch is "I LOST MY VIRGINITY AND GOT MARRIED TO A RICH GUY! YAY!"

Grey's has the actual story arch, and an unbelievable one at that. "I will suddenly change for this carbon copy woman who reminds me of my mother, but for no reason I have decided this is the one and not any of the 15 other women before her."
