Wolf creek 3?

I've read abit of hype about a wolf creek 3. Is this fact of just a bit of a guess? I'm now wondering what direction a third movie would take, would it ignore the spin off Tv series, and it's outcome, or follow on? Or be a prequel? Anyone have any idea or views?

reply

No telling but this series may be the death of Mick Taylor

Spoiler Alert

I've just finished watching the series. Yes, Mick dies. Eve (Lucy Fry) impales him to a wall with a fire poker and then torches the house.

its all good ive seen it too, that's why I posed the question. How can it go to a 3rd film? Prequel, sequel, ignore the spin off ?. or will there be no wolf creek 3 after all.

No, he doesn't die. His body is nowhere to be seen when she checks for it in the morning after the fire. You also see his car driving past at the end of the final episode.

OMG he became another Jason Voorhees

oh my god I'm so damn happy ty ty haha, I turned it off before the end of the credits, and re-watched last 10 mins about 5 times lol.

reply

thanks, didnt watch past credits, what was the picture on the tiles?

reply

The face of the Madonna. There is some speculation that it might be Mick's ghost.

reply

oh fk off...mick isnt a ghost

reply

Nah Mick died. He was impaled thrice. No one can survive that. His body was doused with petrol so it was burned to ashes, which is why his body was not there. The post-credits scene shows a face form in the bathroom floor and Mick's vehicle being driven. Anyone could be driving that ute now. A reminder of the mad man whose reign of terror ended, but his impact will linger on.

reply

...if you look at where he was impaled, they don't seem to be in any vital organs (mainly his shoulders) - so it's feasible that he could have survived. I'm sure there would have been some "remains" of the body too, had he been burned to a crisp afterwards... there wouldn't just be nothing.

I think the way they did it - and especially with his truck driving past after the credits, suggests he survived...

reply

Fire doesn't destroy bones...well not normal fire anyway, it would have to have a lot of oxygen...basically impossible.

Mick's bones would be there...they are not.

In the sequel he tracks her back to Omaha wearing a goalie mask to cover his burns.

Movie villains cannot be allowed to die as long as someone will cough up money for a sequel.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
