Mick Taylor is one of the greatest film/TV villains of all time.

Do you agree?

When you hear about the greatest villains of all time, of course the obvious ones come up, such as Dracula, Freddie Kruger, Jason Voorhees, Darth Vader, The Joker, Leatherface, Michael Myers, Norman Bates, Hannibal Lector, etc, etc.

So what I'm really asking is, do you think Mick deserves to be named alongside those classic characters?

I think he does, he is very memorable and John Jarratt plays him to perfection.
As an Australian, I'm happy to say that I think Mick Taylor is one of our biggest/best entertainment icons.

So who do you think are the best villains of all time from film and TV?
And does Mick Taylor make your list?

Absolutely he is should be on the list, such a great actor who makes it look so natural. It's the little things he does, like that thing he does with his mouth and the little snorts and the way he laughs. Nobody else could play this role better. He is iconic.

Sure he deserves to be on the list. He's one of the few modern horror chads tees to deserve iconic status alongside Freddy etc.

I agree.
Mostly because the writers made him a diabolical killer and torturer and a very evil man.

In the last 10 years especially, too many movies have "villains" who are only mildly bad guys. Quantam of Solace comes to mind, for example, because the evil villain wanted to buy cheap land and then re-sell it for a profit. He killed no one the entire movie, unlike Mick !

Totally agree, JimiCobain. You from Seattle? Just curious. I'm a couple hours south in camas Washington.

Anyways, I can't get enough of Mick Taylor. He's a complete bastard, but he's hilarious. Incredibly charismatic and his laugh absolutely kills me every time. I almost pissed myself while watching the second movie when he says to the truck driver's corpse - "Thanks for the truck, blubber-guts!" Funniest line a psychotic Australian redneck serial killer has ever said in a movie 😂

Unfortunately, I'm not from Seattle, although I can understand why you may think so. I just love a lot of the music/musicians that have come from there.

I'm actually Australian, and the real Wolf Creek is just down the road from me, I regularly go up there to kill a few bloody tourists in my spare time.

 Just kidding, I'm in the city, not the outback.

One of my favourite moments from Mick was near the beginning of Wolf Creek 2, he makes the cop car crash and then when he's casually strolling down to the wreckage, he starts cheerfully whistling "Waltzing Matilda", which is a very iconic song down here in Australia. I found that moment absolutely hilarious, whereas many of my fellow Australians thought it was a bit insulting to our heritage(we have a lot of softies down here that can't take a joke). 

Lol, too funny! I grew up when the whole grunge music scene started, so it was basically the soundtrack of my childhood. Love listening to Jimi as well.

It's pretty awesome that someone from so far away is into something that sort of feels localized to the Washington state area, but I guess Nirvana, Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam were internationally acclaimed.

I'll have to watch that part again! I didn't even notice him whistling a tune. Also loved the "Tie Me Kangaroo Down" scene when Mick and the Brit are getting on.

I'd say one of the most realistic villain written. He looks like a real killer and that's eerie. He is brilliant!
