Real animals harmed?
Were those real kangaroos and rabbits that were killed during the show?
shareProbably really good fakes. Take a look at the making of Wolf Creek 1 and you'll see the quality of their prosthetics even 11 years ago.
shareWell I think it's scientifically proven that animals don't feel pain . So I wouldn't worry .
shareLike it's REALLY hard to find a dead Kangaroo on the side of the road you could use as a prop anyway.

Are you mad, sick or just both???
A little from column A and a little from column B.
shareI agree with you, Ted.
shareOf course our fellow animals feel pain. Humans are also animals. Anything that thinks otherwise lacks a soul.
In fact, our fellow animals feel more than we do because people foolishly drown out by taking drugs, alcohol, etc.
There were burgers served in the lingerie truck-stop in Rome (Ep 5).
I assumed that they were beef but they could have been kangaroo.
We can assume that during the mans weeks of production of the show,
the catering department served a choice of meat-based meals to the cast and crew.
Therefore, animals probably WERE harmed.
But on the bright side, they were probably delicious.

I didn't see any kangaroos being killed on screen, there was a rabbit being shot by a armsbow or something in the last episode but the rabbit was lying there visibly not moving (dead) already when it got shot.
So no it's safe to assume that that didn't happen.
It's very possible that all the dead animals were real though, in Australia kangaroos are as common as livestock to eat (you can even get imported kangaroo burgers in the UK I've seen, I would never ever try that though) .
The plan is you drink a nice tall glass of shut the *beep* up.
Definetly try Kangaroo if you have the chance. If it is cooked right it is better than any bit of beef or chicken you will ever have mate.
shareI live in the US, and I've had 'roo jerky and pepperoni sticks before, but I'd love to try it in steak form or however you prep it. I'd likely need to do a little searching online how to find some actual meat.
shareI think so, they looked very real. Did not look fake at all.
