In the first minutes I had my ideas about what was going to happen but turns out I was totally wrong. The story took a turn I did not see coming and it was great. I really enjoyed this Christmas horror and Im glad I bought it. The young actors were all good, especially the babysitter. The thrills were there and there was just enough violence to satisfy me. 7.5/10
So what direction did you think the movie was going until the twist was revealed? Like you I thought I had it figured out at the beginning, then when we find out what's really going on, I was pretty much stunned. I love this movie mainly because I've never seen anything quite like it. When I first sat down to watch it I thought it was gonna be a run-of-the-mill home invasion flick, wow was I wrong!
Something like the parents pulling an evil trick on the kids or maybe even christmas-killer-elves. What did you think?
shareWell, the movie was promoted as kind of a horror version of "Home Alone", so I thought basically the kids and the babysitter were gonna fight off home invaders using "Home Alone" style traps, like the paint can on a rope. It turns out the paint can was used, just not in the way I thought!

The trailer gave to much away and showed a lot of stuff that didn’t make sense for it to be like an adult horror home alone.
Was semi decent twist but I got to admit, right from the beginning the kid was giving me the creeps, so solid performance by the actor there.
I liked the twist.

this has become a bit of a seasonal favourite of mine, & i'll almost definitely be giving it another go in the next week or so.
