Plays like a home movie

You know how when people post videos to youtube, or on facebook, and you watch them, out of respect, because you know the person, and this stupid video goes on and on for about 15 minutes to show nothing, or maybe there's one funny thing in it but you can't wait that long because it was never edited? That's what this movie feels like. There's so much pointless dialog, so much wasted time, so many long breaks between line, so many times where it feels like the actor screwed up the line but they just plowed through because they couldn't afford to retake the shot. It just hurts to watch.

If this was done by a film school student it would be critiqued so harshly that the director would probably hang himself, or at the very least, drop out of film school and quit wasting his parent's money.
