The makers are gearing up to release the movie on August 25 in as many theaters across the world. As the release date is nearing, the movie unit has increased its aggressiveness in promotions. It is known that the recently unveiled bold poster of Vijay has gone viral. Also, the song "Akdi Pakdi" which was shot on the hero heroines and dancers, was well received. The song has received more than 30 million views so far.

Meanwhile, the makers have announced that the trailer of 'Liger', which Vijay's fans are waiting for, will be released on July 21.
