How on earth do you fake going to grad school?

Especially if it's only a train ride away? And especially with an Indian parent? LOL. I'm Indian-American and there's no way this could happen.

Agree 100%! I'm not South Asian but I do have an 'old world' mom.
She'd be on me constantly; daily phone calls asking me how I'm doing in school, if I'm eating properly, randomly showing up with care packages (because if course I'm not capable of taking care of myself) Hell, she'd bring enough for the entire dorm because "They look a little thin"
Old-world parents seem to be more, um...involved? *cough*intrusive*cough*
In a CARING way, of course. Lol!
