So Simon is dead - the only character i have loved since the pilot - and yet the twins are still alive? UGH
Speaking of season 2, how will it even work? the show is called Quantico and yet they graduated It would be so much easier for it to follow new NATS every season instead of a continuing storyline
Man, I am so with you! Simon was my absolute fave, and even though he wasn't in every episode, I was glued to the screen whenever he was there. Also, I was hoping we could see a true romance develop between him and Raina. But I had a feeling at first he was going to be the bad guy, but then when he wasn't they said in the promo someone would make the ultimate sacrifice, I felt it had to be him!
Come to think of it, to me Simon was the only character out of ALL the characters on all the shows that aired during this whole TV season, whose death made me seriously SAD! And hey, I'm also watching Game of Thrones, so it says something.
Even though, with all the plotholes on Quantico (still a very entertaining show), I admit that real life-wise, it made sense. Quite often, things of that nature happen in real life EXACTLY like that. It takes a guy like that to sacrifice himself, and it usually happens really fast, and it's not always the only/the best choice, because when you have less than 2 minutes, you don't have the time to come up with something 100% perfect.
And I know many real life stories when something like this would go down, and FAIL. So the person would die while TRYING to save the others, and would die completely in vain... So yup, it totally made sense.
But I really REALLY liked this character, and I'm not sure I care about the rest of them enough to keep watching now that he's gone.
The reason people use a crucifix against vampires is that vampires are allergic to bull$hit.
GoT deaths are just for shock value - they will never emotionally resonate with me - but then again, i don;t like any character on that overrated show so.....

I know I'm late replying to this, but in retrospect, in addition to Simon's death, I hate that Natalie died. I was beginning to like her just when they killed her off.
Ugh, that's probably going to be worse. Season 1A was going great, then in 1B when the new trainees came in and tried to mix with some of the originals, it just didn't work.
