I did not follow that card exercise at all...
Guess I'll give this episode a few days, then rewatch when I'm not as tired, 'cuz that made no sense to me!

shareEach recruit was given a card with a piece of information about a fellow recruit. They had to try to figure out which recruit the information was about by getting the others to reveal information about themselves. They then wrote the name of the recruit on the back of the card. They thought the objective was to figure out who their card was about. But they only found out after the exercise that the actual exercise was not to have their own card guessed, not to reveal too much information about themselves.
shareThen they kicked out a bunch of students for not doing something that they didn't know they weren't supposed to do. Almost as bad as last year when they kicked out students for trying to save their own lives instead of getting blown up for no reason or when they kicked out people for doing fewer pull ups than somebody in the other class.
I've completely tuned this show out. I still watch it but I only really look up when the women are doing something sexy.
WE GOT MOVIE SIIIIIGN!
They were told both objectives. They didn't know that really only the second one mattered--they leak, they're out.
shareThanks for the explanation, but that just seems like too broad of a task! Imagine Quantico doing something unrealistic...never!
shareYou think it's a broad task to be given one word on a card that could literally be a reference to anything and they're supposed to figure it out?
Alex's card said, "Andi" which was OBVIOUSLY a reference to The Goonies because what else could it mean, and that is TOTALLY something that would come up in conversation during a training exercise. So fail for Alex for missing that.
It said "Andy", not "Andi"
shareWasn't it self explanatory to not reveal much about yourself? If you know everyone's mission is to find out who's card they had, common sense should dictate, someone has my card, so I better be careful about who I say so one less person succeeds in case I donn't
