What did Alex shove in the terrorist's mouth? Was it cyanide or something?

If that was true then why would she try and stop the female terrorist killing herself lol

I also thought it was cyanide, and she did it to save herself from getting killed.

Earlier in the episode she had found a pill of some sort in the terrorist uniform she stole. So I'm guessing yeah cyanide or something similar and each terrorist probably has one.
