Opening scene spoilers for finale

The first few minutes of the finale knocked my socks off. I knew he was The Terrorist from last week's episode. But when they showed the montage of clips of all he prep work for the big frame up, the cameras, swapping evidence, etc... I'm going to have to watch that part again. He even faked getting drunk at the bar to get Alex to pick him up. And watching him place her at bombing site... SCUMBAG! I'm glad he is dead.

In addition to her personal history, do you think her being of middle eastern decent was a big factor for him selecting Alex? It would be so easy for the American public to believe a dark skinned person (male or female) was the terrorist and not some guy next door all-American Caucasian male. Although, it would have been too obvious to select the twins, Raina being a devout Muslim. Plus, he didn't know they were twins at the time he was hatching his plan.

Alex is not of Middle Eastern descent.

Yeah, I think re-watching the episode would be a good idea because Liam does have a twisted explanation for why he chose Alex.

I think he deliberately riddled the class with vulnerable agents (like Caleb, Eric, Shelby, etc.), figuring that he'd be able to turn at least one of them, but picked Alex because he recognized her name and figured that with what he knew about her background, she'd be the most easily manipulated.

It really took you until next to last episode to guess Liam? He was the most obvious choice. It was such a cop out they picked him.

I guessed Liam from episode 1 but then i kept having a change of heart. sometimes, first impressions are enough i guess.
