Why is her name Alex?

Doesnt this defeat the object of having an Indian female as a lead in a western tv show? We cast an Indian as a lead to encourage racial diversity but then shes given an english name, its like they were afraid to push this all the way. If you are gona cast an actor/actress of asian decent, dont hide their heritage.

The creator of Gossip Girl originally wrote the role for a Caucasian female.

ABC sent Priyanka a bunch of scripts to choose which show she wanted to do and Quantico was the one she picked.

Happiness must be earned.

Alex is better than having a name is can't spell or pronounce.
