This season feels so disconnected

This could be a completely different show. They completely disregarded any storylines from season 1. In the first season at least there was some normalcy, where there was real connection with different people. This season has none of that. I have no idea how they are going to explain Miranda making a complete 180. Or why Caleb is not a part of the show anymore. Him and Shelby's storyline was one of my favorites. They just completely scrapped all the people we cared about, and brought in new people who I still have not grown an attachment to. I can't put my finger on it, but there just isn't the same depth as before.

It does feel disconnected. I really have a hard time imagining how they will keep on with the flashbacks, without adding a sub-mistery to this boring mess.

@lin: It might feel that way because now some of them are facing the REAL deal and are working. The school vibe is over. Then last season some people died. Others we don't see anymore. And others here and there. And Alex and Ryan are working with different people. So it does present a different vibe.
