Don't count on it... You have so many young sexually repressed women in this country that haven't had a movie to get wet to in so long that 50 Shades will win by default.

50 Shades will destroy it at the BO. It's already written on the wall, and there's no way to avoid it, unfortunately. However, the men who walk up to that booth and say "Two for John Wick, please." can hold their head up high.

It won't destroy it, remember Kingsman when the first 50 shades came out, 36 million opening weekend and 128 million total this will do similar numbers well at least opening weekend.

Chapter 2 beating the 50 Shades sequel & the Batman Lego movie and then going to number one at the BO? Wishful thinking, but oh man that would be amazing. I just hope it does well.

Well, here is one woman who will be buying tickets for John Wick.

1.) There is a dog.
2.) The dog is awesome.
3.) Keanu Reeves is Keanu Reeves.
4.) 50 Shades is *beep* literature with a *beep* story line that cannot be rescued in a *beep* movie.
5.) If I feel sexually repressed, I can watch Russell Crowe mess around all up in his dad bod in The Nice Guys. Humor, violence, and good-natured grumpiness beat *beep* sex stories any day of the week.

That being said,
1.) I hope the dog does not die.
2.) I do like Legos.
3.) I want to see someone get keeled with a *beep* peencil.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine......

I tend to agree, but I hope John Wick surprises us. It has a strong cult following and it really takes perfect advantage of Keanu's strengths as a movie star. Plus it's getting great reviews, so it could really surprise us.

I also hope so. Anything to get rid of that series forever. It's like the "Twilight Saga" won't die! Now the fans have migrated onto fanfics which are even more awful and banal than the books on sparkly vampires!

John Wick doesn't open up against 50 Shades in the UK but I will be supporting Lego Batman this weekend to kick 50 Shades off number 1

Then John Wick is being shown on Valentines Day, I'm a hetrosexual man but John Wick shall be my date for the evening.
