I think I knew why there is no Season 2

Season 1 ended with the loose storyline of Morra evading the FBI. So, presumably, Season 2 would have had an arc about Morra being investigated and the FBI trying to bring him in. I think someone decided it was too close to the real life situation of a presidential candidate being under investigation by the FBI and didn't want to anger the leftist base of Hollywood.

No, I think CBS canceled Limitless because they were replacing it with MacGyver, another product that was from an existing license.

The show was cancelled because the ratings weren't good enough to renew it.

Just started watching, and the show sucks. We are only wanting to finish the pilot (with wayyy too many voice overs), but are having fun making fun of the show.
