So many sharks jumped...

I've finally finished binge-watching this series.

And I have to say that it suffers from the same issues that two other series I've watched, 'Lucifer' and 'Blindspot': bad execution of a great premise.

If I'm recalling accurately, 'Limitless' went off the rails around the sixth episode. From that point on, I was sticking with the series simply out of a silly sense of duty.

It got goofy. In fact, at some point I declared that it was an updated 'Chuck'.

And some of the writing was atrocious, especially the interludes with Brian's parents. Yuck.

I'd love to talk to the show runners and find out whether the season went as they'd planned.

I hope they don't renew it; it doesn't deserve another season.
