Jana's escape plan

It seems to me Jana's escape through the tunnel plan was incredibly selfish. Even if they aren't infected they didn't exactly make it difficult for other to follow and they are well aware that there are infected people coming into that church. Yes it's understandable that they want out but none of them even bought up the fact that they could be bringing the virus outside the cordon and potentially killing a lot of the people in the city if not the entire world. For someone who was called a genius in the last episode she doesn't seem to be thinking very clearly.

was thinking the same thing

You can't persuade fanboys. You'd be better off trying to convince a wall. ~CodeNamePlasmaSnake~

It is easy to demand that someone else sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

I agree but it was still selfish too. I don't know how brave I am, I haven't faced such challenges. But knowing my family is on the other side of the Cordon and this could end with me, I hope I'd be smarter. No way I'd want my parents, children, spouse, friends, loved ones to live like the cordon. But we are also talking about people who themselves don't believe they are infected or a risk to people on the outside. From their perspective, the time in there is increasing their chances of dying when getting away from it could mean they live presumably safely. So I also get what they were thinking. But if they had been successful, what if that giant hole on the church became a flood gate? It would be all their fault.
