What bugs me...

I am on episode five and they are JUST NOW talking about a food drop. Why didn't they start planning one at the very beginning? And why not also set up to drop in meds and supplies? What about FEMA, or National Guard? It just seems WAY too half-assed and sloppy to be remotely believable. Now, I know, I know, it's fiction. But in Jericho, the delayed response from the government (which was corrupt, but still), was understandable because of the massive damage and nuclear fallout. And having only nine cops in the entire US, even disregarding military and nonprofit backup, is *beep*

Ok, rant over.

True but remember how long after Katrina that so many people got help? Even in real life, sometimes help isn't immediate like we wish it was or think it should be. But I do agree about the National Guard. Not to mention that I think people would be vacating Georgia altogether. The concept though, is very thought provoking and if we think for one minute that it's out of the realm of possibility, then we are fooling ourselves.
