Katie Singing to Jake

Does anyone know the name of the song that Katie was singing to Jake during their "picnic" and if it was really her singing? There's no Soundtrack info about it. The voice sounded very familiar to me. I'd appreciate any help.

Julie Plec tweeted that Kristen Gutoskie (Katie) really did sing that song and that she's the one who wrote it, too :)

During a couple parts of that song, I thought she sounded a little like Alannis Morrissette back in her "Jagged Little Pill" days.

Definitely! I think it was the quirky comments in the lyrics.

Kristen Gutoskie also does a really good cover of the Beatles' "Blackbird" on YouTube.

I found that on yt just yesterday. She has a great voice, I really hope she posts more.
