Just when I thought a Portmanteau was in order, WHY Stella, Why

I was side-eyeing that relationship from the start. Granted, it doesn't seem like Stella was with Micah due to his father's fame, but something felt off. A part of me was wondering this with how Stella's mother and I wanted to say maybe she was uncomfortable with him due to the rape, but then I really thought about it. I believe there was some belief Micah's family wasn't like other Black people but once Davis brought a negative perception to the family, and then Charley acted how did on TV, Stella's mom decided her daughter needs to leave this little negro alone.

Then when it comes to Stella, specifically her, I just felt so weird about it. Kind of weird because I can fully imagine Micah coming out, but also because something about it felt forced. Like either one or both their intentions weren't revealing everything.

Meh...I didn't like her but it sucks that Micah had to get dragged into this. I'm sure he'll have enough on his plate with his parents divorcing and the national disgrace his father brought on their family.

I have a feeling that Charly is going to move back to LA to oversee the crop (and clearly her and Remy are gonna spark a fire) but Micah wanting to be with his friends and girlfriend was holding her back so clearly something was going to have to happen. This was just a lame excuse for him to be kicked out of school...

There was an early scene where Stella was acting shady, saw and spoke to Micah briefly and when they went separate ways she was shady again. Like she was keeping a secret from Micah. This one of the first times we see her (if not the very first time) and I knew from that moment I didn't like her.
