I wasn't wowed but it wasn't bad. Nerdy kid with hot sister is distracting because they look nothing alike. Actually everyone looking like models is distracting. Glad to see the guy from Incorporated got a new job.
shareI probably won't be watching. I don't like shows where people are hunted down by the government, even shot on sight, just because they are different. I don't like that the American government is the bad guy.
If the show was about mutants who work for the good of all, they are the superheroes and were appreciated and not hunted down like animals, I would like it.
Guess I'm tired of hate groups. I see enough of that in real life.
The main human guy, a prosecutor for the government, mentioned they started rounding up mutants because they were battling each other in the streets, causing a lot of property destruction and hurting/killing bystanders. He claimed that it was a harsh but necessary approach to stopping the violence. But all that was about 30 seconds of the episode, the rest of it just made the government out to be twisty mustache evil and corrupt. Disappointing they copped out and didn't examine why the government took a hard line. In real life, people are always bitching about government regulations but those regulations (usually) are necessary.
