Can someone please explain the ending to me??? I watched it twice and I still don't get it. It's probably just a random mind fudge, but maybe not.

shareThere was something unexplained, like the power to inhabit two separate bodies at once. There was the other scene with the detective where something similar took place; detective looks in the mirror and sees a different reflection. At the same time (possibly) the father was under the bed. So there was some kind of magical, multi-dimensional thing going on that the movie just didn't explain. I just assumed they could exist as multiple people simultaneously.
