The commercial sounding off the smoke alarm couldn't be more annoying, every time it comes on I cringe,I don't like the noise when smoke detectors go off by accident and my pets don't appreciate it either,I definitely won't be watching, you have annoyed me way too much already !

This whole show is going to be horrible. All the advertisements cause it to appear as extremely unhumorous and idiotic. Adlon's character is the worst I've ever seen written for television. Complete garbage this is.
I agree with you on the smoke alarm deal. Both in them being extremely annoying, especially when there are six dogs in the residence and I've had trouble getting to sleep the night before.
It's funny that you say her character is the worst one you've seen written for television when it's supposed to be based on her real life. Personally I don't find her that great of an actress which is the reason why she basically had to do voice over work. Even at that her work is one dimensional-her characters all sound like Bobby Hill.
She wasn't that great in Californication-that show had such great reviews but the actors sort of sucked except for David and some of the guest stars. But the other main leads were not that great. It amazes me what passes as "good" tv these days.
