Ok, so... its a good show. Acting and script is ok but.... Wats wrong?.. well, LA isnt the center of the world. Period! Watch it and imagine u live in Zimbabwe, Africa?... its a show for Westrn ppl, without any real goal in life.. ye ye.. singel mom.. but cmon.. arnt there more then LA moms?.. wat i am sayin is.. cast is good, script/ditectipn is good.. but the topic is sooo american and egoistic.

The Malin char is just a mom in the rest of the world, except the rest moms Dont drive. Period.

Watch it but Dont think 4 - sec its about real life. Its about a priviladge white woman (thinking she is poor)... Thats is.

The revolves around a struggeling mom... in LA.. in the western world.... wat do u recon a mom in 3D world would think about her problems?.. anywho... the daughter got big boobs. Dang!

What makes you think that Adlen's character thinks she is poor? I think it is certainly established within the series that she has money from being a teen television star (or something along those lines). The only scene where money seems an issue is when she is telling off Max for having a $500 Lyft bill, which seemed more about teaching her daughter good sense.

Its never claimed in the show that LA is the world.

However obviously it is the world for this show since it happens in LA. Duh.
