Bring On Eddie

It'd be great if they could get Eddie Cahill working with Gary again on this one. I'd love to see him get a good lead. I absolutely loved him as Flack on CSI: NY despite the fact he didn't get whole lotta screentime.

Please don't jump down my throat for this suggestion but I believe Eddie is an underrated actor.

I completely agree -- I love Eddie Cahill and also think he's underrated and hasn't gotten enough bigger roles to really show off his acting chops.

But yes, he needs more screen time than Flack was afforded.

I've never thought of him as underrated, but since I've only seen him in CSI NY I haven't had much to judge him by.

Can you recommend one of his shows that you feel he did well in?

There's someone in my head but it's not me.

He was in Glory Days and the movie Miracle based on the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team. To me, he is underrated as well. I would like to see him back with Sinise but that's improbable.

Wouldn't that be a dream?

My husband and I watch Blue Bloods. I wish he could've been cast as Tom Selleck's character's son. They look quite a bit alike IMO, and he could have played a detective again. Not that I dislike Donnie Wahlberg, but Eddie and Tom Selleck in one show? Oh wow.

FYI, he costarred in an episode of Law and Order.

He played Rachel's assistant when she worked at Bloomingdale's on Friends. He also appeared as Carrie's boyfriend who was bi-sexual on I think the second season of Sex and the City but I don't remember his characters name. That's the first role I saw him in and I remember how Rachel drooled over him and I think fired him so she could sleep with him. I did appear in Season 2 and 3 of Under the Dome (which was cancelled recently). Those are the roles that I remember him from beside CSI: NY. Very handsome man.

they should have had Eddie play A brother to Hotch on the original CM. they have very similar looks.

It would be cool for Eddie to be on the spinoff, but he's doing Under the Done right now.

I kind of they had hired Aldis Hodge for the hacker role in the spin off.

I'm a bit bummed that it doesn't seem like Sterling K. Brown is going to be a regular cast member. I was hoping he would be.

*Under the Dome*.

That was supposed to say "I kind of wish". I backspaced too far when I was correcting another typo lol.

I loved Eddie Cahill in NY and tried to watch Under the Dome when I found out that's where he landed next. But that show was horrible!! Even with Eddie on it, plus a couple other actors I like, I just couldn't get through it.

I guess I would have to watch a couple of episodes of this new show to see if Eddie would be a good fit.

But hopefully he'll find someplace to show off his good looks. :)
