I cannot get into these procedural shows

Why are shows like this still on the F_cking air. shows like this are shows you watch when nothings better on. Why can't we get more good serialized programs on network TV?? this business practice of making every show episodic is killing good TV. Nobody remembers shows like this. shows like this could never provide the entertainment that shows like breaking bad, the wire, the walking dead, American crime, American crime story, American horror story, orphan black, the expance, battlestar galactica, 12 monkeys give us. Why is this old practice still alive. so sick of these types of shows that provide nothing of anything resembling quality television.

Simply stated, not everyone agrees on what a "good" show is. Procedural shows in the past have done well, such as Law & Order (1990), which lasted 20 seasons. Producers tend to copy what has worked and then air a lot of the copies. Another variation of this is the spinoff:
Successful show JAG (1995) is spun off into NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service (2003) which becomes even more successful.
That in turn spawns two variations set in other cities.

Of course, CM: Beyond Budgets is a spinoff, so it falls into the latter category.

I feel the same way about reality shows, so I avoid the problem by not watching them.

IMO, the premise of this show is possible, however the show is poorly researched and written. I've watched the similarly-premised Crossing Lines (2013) and find it to be a far better show.
