So Mae chases the unsub, sure let the slowest person out the bunch chase a suspect, and never once did she draw her weapon. That seems very unbelievable.

This show has too many flaws, it's poorly produced and executed with a water down tone unlike Criminal Minds. They should of made it with a different format of catching terrorist or fugitives instead of another serial killer show.

They weren't allowed to have weapons in Egypt. That request was denied by the Egyptian officials. It was mentioned in the beginning when they landed and it was the reason they constantly had armed escort - that Jack requested.

Yes, the show has flaws, but you have to pay attention to know which are actual flaws and which are viewer error based on lack of attention to details.
