Interpol Canada?

In the April 13th episode, there was a reference to Canadian Interpol. No such organization exists. Come on, producers, do some research!

No such organization exists.

I can't see the other reply since the member is on my ignore list. Interpol is not what it is portrayed as on TV- an international police force with agents that go to foreign countries to investigate crimes and make arrests. Member countries use existing police (such as the FBI in the US, and the RCMP in Canada, eh?, see below) to do this work. Interpol is just a network of members with some central coordination, the people doing the work such as making arrests in the country where the crime or criminal is located are domestic law officers from that country.

Example: An Egyptian citizen robs a bank in Toronto, and flees the country. Since Egypt is an Interpol member, the RCMP via Interpol works with the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior to have the suspect arrested and extradited.
