Hoping for a Canadian episode before it's cancelled

Just to see how out of touch they are and who they cast as the stymied Canadian police.

I'm hoping for an English one myself. Lots of American actors talking in terrible (Australian?) accents, whilst driving Mini's and saying bloody hell every two seconds. Should be excellent!

No need. The SRU on Flashpoint (2008) takes care of the little crime there is in Canada, eh? 

Besides, they have the Canadian Chuck Norris on the SRU, Bald Head Guy (BHG). The show is in syndication now, so watch it and you'll see what I mean.

oh they use it as late night filler on national tv these days since they're too cheap to play a late night movie anymore

that was mostly a Toronto centric show. our cop shows either get set in Toronto or Vancouver. the thousands of miles in between mostly get ignored for tv show settings

that was the guy who was Veronica Mar's dad,"Keith Mars" wasn't it?

I know he was main cast in that show..

I did not like it...a politically-correct SWAT team...I soon kicked that to the kerb.

BHG was not Keith a/k/a Elliott from Just Shoot Me! (1997), who still had some hair. BHG was Ed Lane, played by Hugh Dillon.

BHG fun fact #425: BHG is incapable of having a photo taken where he does not look like a badass, eh?

I've got right show, but wrong guy, Im thinking of 'Gregory Parker" as portrayed by Enrico Colantoni...I thought he was the main man in the show.
anyway, he was also 'Keith Mars" re Veronica Mars..

Same guy. He was in more episodes of Just Shoot Me! (1997) than any of the other shows. I never watched Veronica Mars (2004), so I'm not familiar with that character.

He was the Sergeant, I just have a lot of fun with the Lane character (whom I call BHG) since he was so intense on the show.

You had it in the parent series. Two parter 'To Hell and back'.

reply

True but that was based on the BC pig farmer. A CM:BB episode set in Canada needs to be tourist related.

Yep, I know what you mean. It's a shame that the show is idiotically mutilating its own potential by clinging to the same "saving kidnapped American tourists from foreign serial killers" plot every single week. It's both lazy and boring.

reply

Canadian police and other Canadian law officials got a gig on a recent episode of "the Good Wife", if you need to catch up on that..

reply

Looking for tourists from Buffalo who get lost in Toronto after a Jays game. They are are assisted by A J Cook who was born in Oshawa, Ontario.

Why would the FBI come to Canada? Canada has their own police known as RCMP. Isn't that the same as FBI?

mmm....padded walls....so soft...

reply

I was being sarcastic. After all, they went to Mexico which has it's own federal equivalent to the FBI.

reply

Oh! lol It doesn't really translate well on here. ;)

reply

Canada has RCMP, which actually is the equivalent to FBI, RCMP enforces federal law, and is also contracted to police certain provinces inner cities. We also have equivalent CIA, called Canadian Security Intelligence Service.

hehe...!

They could dig this up and do a crossover:
