Favorite Character Changes from scene to scene

I love this show. Great acting, great writing, fantastic stories. Any anachronisms or mistakes combining terminology from today with the past don't really bother me, because I'm so drawn in my these characters. I don't even catch that much, and what I do I just let pass. I certainly tend to be more forgiving the more I'm drawn in.

Alfred started as my favorite, but it seems that with each new scene featuring another character, that one becomes my favorite. The emotional turmoil both Aurora, Harry and Neal are experiencing in their own ways (over death/murders they've committed) right now is incredibly powerful and moving.

But then Tom gets shot, convalesces and returns to the team wiser and more dedicated than ever to their cause, and seems to be a bit more of a leader than in earlier episodes.

Alfred is not only able to remember everything, but also seems to be more intuitive with each passing episode, and his seemingly emotional (romantic?) connection to Aurora is both perplexing and fascinating. She clearly has some sort of feelings for him, even if they are more "mother bear protecting her cub;" and he has for her, though I'm not sure on what level or to what extent. Can't wait to see what, if anything, develops there.

All in all, I love that the characters are evolving and growing before my eyes. you can really see that the war, and their efforts specifically, are really impacting who they are, how they feel, and what they do.

I'm also enjoying the romantic storyline for Neal - it's giving us some great insight into his very deep soul. Would like to get to know Tom and Harry a bit more, too.
