One of the things I like is that he's portrayed by a German actor so the German spoken is authentic. Franz was this normal man possibly a teacher before joining the Nazis he's had to do some very evil stuff including massacre a village of innocent people. I wonder how his story will end he could be sent to Nuremberg after this or be locked up in a psychiatric institution.
sharemy guess is he's bound for nervous breakdown if not Suicide.
the PTSD from killing his son alone has to have put him on a Tipping point...
heck I wouldn't be shocked if he Snaps on a Superior Officer, shoots them point Blank, and is then gunned down by their staff.
In the last aired episode, the actor who plays Franz was superior in his acting, the range of emotions he showed was excellent. Hopefully he gets some recognition for his role. Can't wait til the next episode.
