Apparently to The Government is increasing funding to CBC so fingers crossed.
It was confirmed earlier today. Season 3 will air this coming winter.

I enjoyed how they worked in the actual events at Dieppe. They showed how the Allies ruthlessly felt they had accomplished their objectives there--the testing of German response to an invasion (and the terrible cost).
The cliffhanger ending was just WOW.
