Was it only meant to run 3 seasons? Disappointing news either way. I have really enjoyed X COMPANY and looked forward to it running the span of the rest of WWII (so far, two seasons in, we are only through about half of 1942)
It's a shame that great Canadian series seem to want to end when they're still good -- like Motive did. (Unlike so many American ones that limp along for several more years after they've become a hollow shell of what they once were.)
It's filming in Hungary, though, standing in for wartime Paris, and maybe it's taking its toll on the cast and crew, being away that long.
But I'm disappointed like you.
Hmm. Ending it now seems appropriate. Despite one or two good episodes, I never felt it played out all that close to its potential.
