The beginning of the end...
... but what a great start to the final season!
shareIt sure was a great start! I have to say I was wondering if the show might have run out of steam, after Dieppe -- but last night's season opener was one of their best yet.
A great mix of action and the kind of espionage and intrigue that's so exciting to watch. I was on the edge of my chair the whole time, with such suspense -- and cliff-hangers all over. I can't WAIT for the next episode! I'll be buying the DVD, as usual, but I want to see this one again as soon as I can, on the CBC website. It was just that good, in every detail.
I was impressed with Christina last season, who really stepped up and showed potential to become a force to be reckoned with, and I was VERY impressed with her last night. She's really going to be someone to watch in the episodes to come.

I just looked her up on here, and I see her name in the cast is spelled Krystina (Breeland), and she's played by Lara Jean Chorostecki, who was born in Brampton, Ontario. (It says she's been in more episodes than Aurora, which surprised me.)
I could say more about her in the episode, but I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't seen it yet, so check your PMs.
