I loved Neil's speech.
Every week there's another memorable moment. Last week we had Miri's touching song (I was glad to see the Facebook page correct their previous misinformation, and give what the REAL title of it was) -- and last night there was the radio speech to the people of occupied France.
When Neil turned the page and realized that the speech that Rigaud had written ended in mid-sentence, I thought "Uh-oh...." because Neil is usually so taciturn and not a man given to words.
But when he closed the book and just extemporized, speaking from his heart, it was amazing. To hear something like that would be so inspiring to the people living under the Occupation.
It reminded me of Winston Churchill's famous "We shall never surrender" speech, which had helped the people of Britain to maintain their courage.
