THis was rough to watch......I was excited,, but it failed badly. They should of focused more on the lip synching and less on the antics

I was entertained. I even enjoyed the Common/John Legend episode despite having no interest in either of their music careers.

By "antics," do you mean what their physical performances and costumes or all the trash talk and behind the scenes footage? If it's the former, I disagree. That is part of what makes the performances entertaining. John Legend was a much better lip syncer, but I thought Common had the better overall performance.

I thought it was pretty good except for Chrissy Teigen. She is a waste of camera time. Just let LL Cool J host it by himself, or get some eye candy that isn't a waste of time.

Agree, she already had become annoying before they even had their first commercial break.

I'm not sure what purpose she serves, but I did get a kick out of her disgusted look at John Legend's "Slow Motion" performance.

Her purpose is eye candy. That's pretty much it.

I didn't like the OTT style. It was too all over the place compared to the Tonight Show segments. You couldn't see their lips half the time because they were cutting to different angles so much.
