shareBojack Horseman :)
shareBoth horses..t.
For every animal bought, a shelter animal dies.
Wow, you have a rather tragic sense of humor to have found nothing funny in either show.
I'm not even going to ask what you think of 'Rick and Morty', the greatest animated program of all time; because your unfortunately predictable answer will only reinforce my point.
This is why no one invites you to parties, in case you were wondering.
Did your friend that you are jealous of make that show too?
sharewell, Bojack is... definitely
I'd recommend Archer because it's hilarious, but it's a different style of comedy. Many seasons on Netflix
shareBojack horseman definitely. Laugh out loud, satirical and at times very dark. Seriously, f is for family isn't really in the same league. And that's coming from a guy who enjoys Burr's stand up.
shareI grew up in the 1970s and 1980s.
Halfway through this episode I texted my brother to basically say THIS WAS SO OUR CHILDHOOD.
Right down to the part where the older sibling tells the younger sibling to pretend to be asleep so he doesn't get in trouble... and the youngest sibling being treated as an innocent who could never do anything wrong, it's like jumping into a time machine, freaky!
It is both hilarious and disturbing how perfectly this not-so-golden age was captured in this short series... and to have Bill Burr yelling and swearing all the time as an authenticate dad of the 1970s, WOW! (reminds me of both my childhood AND classic Burr -- before he got married :( )
PS: op I agree with "Archer", HIGHLY recommended... also check out Arrested Development if you haven't already, and COMMUNITY holy crap all 3 of these other shows have a "ridiculous but not quite unrealistic" level of situational comedy that is tear-inducing brilliant at its best times (and just really-funny at its worst times).
Also, no laugh tracks needed for any of these. Not your typical lowest-common-denominator kind of humour that's for sure!

I thought the show was kind of like a good mix of King of the Hill, Duckman, Unsupervised and a cartoon version of Trailer Park Boys.
shareI was going to suggest Unsupervised also. I once made an extended version of the intro music using audio samples from more than one episode, can't remember where I put it so one day I'll have to watch it all again and grab those samples again.
