Did anyone else think he looked like Matthew mcconaughey's character in dazed and confused??

Sam Rockwell even plays it up kind of close to that characterization

Huh... Vic immediately reminded me of the Duke Phillips, from The Critic. Not so much the voice work, obviously, but Vic's character design is literally just Duke Phillips, circa 1971, back when he was an up & coming entrepreneur/swinger.

If you aren't familiar with Duke or The Critic, you should totally go have a look and compare him with Vic. You'll see what I mean.

The first thing I thought was Duke from The Critic as well.

He's Duke Phillips (design-wise), Quagmire (personality-wise), and Ned Flanders (role-wise) all rolled into one.

When I first saw the character, Matthew "all raht" McConaughey instantly came to mind.
