Well it didn't suck but dont expect the movies to get better

The recent films have been very lackluster since Jay Oliva has been working with Zack Snyder, and there have been far too many Batman related animated films in a very short time. Even the JLA movies have been primarily about Batman more than the other characters which was a huge disappointment.

This film follows the popular 'Court of Owls' storyline, but for reasons unknown or just stupid, they changed the name to Batman vs. Robin. IT starts out slow with Robin chasing the Dollmaker in a very dark turnaround. Early in the Film Robin is displeased with his fathers work for Justice instead of Revenge.

Blah Blah Blah, Bruce Wayne is in the Court of Owls, a secret society of white people who judge others for their actions. Blah Blah Blah later, they're the most interesting antagonist in the DC animated films, bar none.

While the flat, bland animation still looks the same, it's shown far more improvement now with faster action scenes and better lip syncing. No longer do the characters just open their mouths once and finish a full sentence.

The characters are very likable... except Damien. He still isn't that good of a character. The entire movie would be far better without him.

While it isn't the best DC animated film, which is a title that will long be held by 'The Dark Knight Returns Part 1', it is a contender of second, and is easily the best N52 era movie to date. In my opinion, far better than Flashpoint due to pacing, character development, and animation.

A solid 9/10 for me.

However, just because this movie was good, it doesn't mean the future films are going to follow in the same quality. It's going to be up and down for DC animated films.

I give it a 6/10, I would say its one of the worst DC movies to be honest. Second best DC adaptation, ya right! It may well be the best new 52 adaption but really that isn't sayin much! I gotta also disagree with you on Justice League: Flashpoint (I don't really count it as new 52). That movie was awesome, and I really love the ending of that movie. After that there was a very noticeable drop-off in quality in DC animated films. We can only hope that they don't forget about longtime fans, and adapt some more of the great graphic novels! Like The Killing Joke and The Long Halloween!

Flashpoint is the start of the New 52 movies and was the film that started all the changes.

Your score doesn't reflect how you described it.

I give it a 8.5/10. I liked it better than Son of Batman but I think Flashpoint is still the best New52 film(not incl TDKR). As for future DC animated films I always stay optimistic and I will most likely enjoy them, though JL: War wasn't good.

I didn't like Flashpoint as much as others. The change in art style and animation made it look cheap and very weak compared to past films. The story on the other hand is very good, but was ruined by the bad pacing and telling of that story. Too much happened in too short of time and there was far too much focus on Batman.

JL War was just not good. Not bad but not good.

Throne of Atlantis was very bad.

Son of Batman was the worst.

Assault on Arkham...wasn't bad at all.

Court of Owls, because that really is a much better name, was very well made. I can see 8.5 and even maybe an 8 now that I've rewatched it and saw even more flaws that I missed.
