Batman says "no killing", yet...

He has a security system around his house featuring electrocution, impalement, and landmines that send out exploding pellets. Isn't some of this stuff kinda lethal? The most disturbing part is that he designed this to keep people in.

The no killing rule only counts for humans.

If they were robots, mutants, demons, ghosts, vampires etc he would have no issues killing them.

The "no killing" rule became a major issue for me in this story. Because Batman starts blowing up the Court of Owl assassins based on the fact that they look slightly less than human. But he has no idea if they're infected, being controlled, possessed, undead or what. And he never bothers to find out either. Even at the end he admits in a round about way that he still isn't sure what they are. But he's happy to splatter them across the bat cave.
