Yes, I had been watching for it and suddenly it arrived!
Had seen it in the afternoon BBC drama slot when series 1 arrived and liked the double-episode format BBC was using to create a 45 minute episode.
But Amazon's half hour format is fine too.
Just finished all 80 episodes in Series 2/Amazon. So am looking forward to checking in to the next series after the cliff hanger.
Liked series 2 very much; with the caveat that the endless, tedious plot with Brian, Rachel and Liam got to the point that after seeming like we were facing 80 more episodes of that po-faced sniveling Rachel, it was almost abandon ship for me midway through.
Not until some new plots arrived--that were far more compelling and not so wash, rinse repeat endlessly with the Brian storyline, as well as the tedious storyline with Bozo the Clown Conor and his clueless, law breaking, worst cop in Ireland mother how can you come back to being "Skip" from getting caught from helping your druggie spawn buying heroin from a dealer or committing GBH in public??) --did I perk up and begin to enjoy it a lot in the second half.
Johnno was a good addition also to the cop shop. He has some GREAT lines and has attitude to spare. Love him.
New more interesting plots with Michael, Bridget and the Keilys revived it for me. That whole Brian/Rachel/Liam saga just went around in circles for hours and hours. Ugh.
It was on life support for me before that time when we got new plots and Michael becoming more interesting--way too much repetitive stuff before that.
