He does find a few things. And the adventures & history of the places he goes are worth watching.

Agreed. He pretty much proved the whole leif ericson / Viking nevagational stone thing.

I like his style of humor, plus the way the show explores history and culture is very fascinating - to me, it is more interesting than DT (even though I liked DT's cast involvement).
