Seemed to be an obvious tell. Good thing he didn't play poker.

Durst is suffering from nervous tics, he constantly blinks compulsively.

I also read that he got diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, and someone mentioned that people with Aspergers often have a hard time looking in someone's eyes by talking with them.

The blinking appears to be intentional, it is inconsistent and too obviously exaggerated. My thought is that it is an affection intended to cover the actual 'tell', so his real facial expression isn't revealed.
